Grandma and Grandpa's

Jake headed up to Moscow this weekend to scope out apartments, so Gwen and I hung out with Grandma and Grandpa. Gwen has really missed Dad and says, "Dada, where go?" Earlier today we tried calling Jake. When he didn't answer, Gwen was so distraught she threw the phone and started crying. My mom has two huge garbage bags full of these plastic balls that are a big hit with all the grandkids.

I hope you've all learned by now that I really don't have anything of consequence to say, and by taking your time to check out this shrine to Gwen, you've really just wasted a little bit of your time. Not that Gwen is a waste of time--she's pretty cool. Anyway, spring was here for a day on Saturday (only to leave again on Sunday), so we put on our spring attire and headed for the park with cousins Nate and Ella.

Don't you love those cute little nobby knees. I haven't seen them all winter. Stupid winter!

Seventy-five percent of the time was spent chasing ducks and geese.

Nate was generous enough to take Gwen down the twisty slide with him. Apparantly that necessitated a helmet--I didn't get the memo. Sorry Gwen.

For those of you who don't know, Jake has been accepted to the University of Idaho Law School up in Moscow. I've been meaning to post this for a while, but it's kind of slipped my mind. We're still waiting to hear from the UofU, but pretty much set on Idaho. He's been accepted to a few other schools out of state, but Idaho offered him in-state tuition because his dad still lives in Idaho. Anyway, Jake is awesome and we're excited for a new adventure.
